About the event

Course Overview:


The emphasis of this course will be to instruct current practice recommendations and clinical reasoning in the evaluation and management of various Lower Extremity Disorders. A majority of the course will include effective utilization of lab time to instruct and practice commonly used manual therapy techniques including both joint and soft tissue mobilizations.  Patient education and motor coordination/ neuromuscular re-education of the lower quarter that have been found to enhance treatment outcomes will also be covered.  Discussions and lectures will cover appropriate integration of these techniques and the clinical reasoning used when developing a treatment plan for a variety of patient populations.  Upon completion of the course, attendees will demonstrate improved psychomotor skills when performing different manual therapy techniques of the lower quarter and integrate these techniques with appropriate patient education and motor coordination activities.
